Who handles your data

What we collect

What you enter in the application form: name, reading of your name, date of birth, gender, nationality, phone, address, email, emergency contact, height, weight, waist and shoe size, hiking, climbing and avalanche-course experience, and your message. To stop abuse, we also record your IP address in a one-way hashed form that cannot be turned back into the address.

Why

Only to run the courses and tours: confirming and contacting you, fitting equipment such as harnesses and helmets, safety on the day, and responding to accidents or emergencies.

Where it is stored

Applications are stored in a Supabase database (Tokyo region). Confirmation emails are sent with Resend. Both act only as processors; only the site operator uses the data.

Sharing

We do not give your data to others except: where the law requires it; in an accident or rescue, to rescue services, medical providers or insurers as far as needed; and, for courses run by an association, to that organizer as a participant list.
